Lone Peak Lookout’s owners desired an elaborate home, rich with historical significance. In just 18 months, OSM delivered a custom 10,300 square-foot house that includes six bedrooms, eight baths as well as offices, recreational and entertainment rooms and a three-car garage. Porches and balconies grace the home both inside and out.

Cedar tree trunks support outdoor porches, 200-year-old reclaimed lumber from the bottom of the St. Lawrence Seaway are perfect for fireplace mantles and ancient logs and stone cutaways from an nearby historical structure were integrated into the master wing. These building materials are rich with history.

Hand forged hardware, chandeliers and sconces add a medieval appeal to the rustic mansion and hang from 25-foot lofty ceilings. Handmade cabinets, bunk bed and countertop materials were sourced from neighboring forests and wilderness areas. From design to layout, every detail was considered in this organic yet modern family home.
