Jonathan Foote Architect
Resembling a stone cottage, Spring Fed is a unique blend of European style and the American West.
The home’s exterior is constructed of reclaimed stone from 19th century Montana buildings while reclaimed French oak graces the interior ceilings, wainscoting and floors. Architects sourced wood from a nearby abandoned mill and barn and creatively included arch stones from the old structures into the new living room where the focal point is a grand mantelpiece carved from imported French limestone. These materials exude a historical charm.
Giving owners access to a private wing, glass-walled stone corridors, or interior breezeways, cross a meandering stream. Outdoor dinners are set under an antique lodge pole pine pergola that overlooks a large pond. The home is a quiet escape, nestled in the Teton Mountain Range.
