R-R Ranch

About this project

General overview

The Ruby River Ranch’s 12-building compound is an outdoor recreational base camp for three generations of family. Located in Big Sky country, each building is family and adventure specific complete with fishing cabins and a 6,300-square-foot main lodge with a kitchen and living room large and cozy enough to welcome a family of 20.

The wooden architecture employs local materials that make the expansive ranch feel like a historical haven. The windows extend from reclaimed fir flooring to lofty 28-foot ceilings, offering unimpeded views of Montana’s spectacular landscape. Whether bellying up to the mahogany-paneled bar or relaxing in the loft library, guests enjoy modern family-style comfort at a home away from home.
